Adobe Flash Player End-of-Life

As many of our users will be aware, Adobe will discontinue support of Flash Player on the 31st of December 2020, and will subsequently block all use on the 12th of January 2021 (Read more from Adobe). To prepare for this we have been actively replacing the remaining areas of Loc8 that run on Flash for the last 18 months, and are well on track for a full cut over to HTML before the End-of-Life date on the 31st. The following points detail the final replacement activity to be aware of in Loc8

Maintenance schedules settings

• Replaced in full, ETA 22nd of December (Read more)
• Flash settings will be removed in January 2021

Automation rules settings

• Replaced in full, ETA 22nd of December (Read more)
• Flash settings will be removed in January 2021

Asset importer

• Replaced in full, ETA 22nd of December (Read more)
• Flash importer will be removed when the replacement is rolled out

Dashboard

• Read-only replacement ETA 22nd of December (Read more)
• Flash dashboard will be removed when the new replacement is rolled out
• An improved dashboard is in development and will be released early 2021
