Leveraging the new home screen as a foundation, the dashboards addon has been expanded with new features and improvements, including

• All custom dashboards are now optionally available using the new home screen grid
• Any dashboard can be maximised to full screen by clicking on the expand icon. When in full screen all pods are increased in size to improve their visibility when displayed on a TV
• The dashboard now supports workspace view pods from most major workspaces, including customers, quotes, jobs, invoices, assets, sites and workforce
• Two new dashboard pods types are available, including list and map, which both display the top results for a selected workspace view

The home screen has been replaced with a far more powerful dashboard space that will provide meaningful insights for users into the day to day activity across your Loc8 system, starting with helpful pods that provide an operational overview of your customers, workforce, and financial activity from quotes through to invoices.

In addition, if you choose to purchase the dashboards addon the home screen can be upgraded to a full blown dashboard solution including multiple configurable dashboards that support custom layouts and the ability to add your own pods that are driven by the workspace views that you control. The options are virtually limitless.

Each major workspace now includes colours alongside the system views to make it easier to find what you're looking for, with colours predominantly based on the statuses in each workspace.

In addition, these colours are now also displayed in the job calendar for a more consistent experience across the app.

The Weekly and Work week modes now display time on the horizontal axis, with the vertical axis being used to group appointments by assignee. This layout mirrors that of the Daily view and provides a more consistent experience when moving between Daily, Weekly and Monthly modes.

With the improved layout in the Weekly and Work week modes, appointments that fall outside of business hours are now always visible as well, helping to avoid missed appointments.

In addition, the colours of appointments in the calendar are now always based on job statuses rather than assignment, which was made possible by ensuring assignment is always visible in the Daily and Weekly modes.

Email sending has been improved to minimise the amount of email that goes to spam

For customers on our Core or Professional plans email sent out of Loc8 will now be sent using a unique email address that is automatically created with your Loc8 account as opposed to being sent using your company email address

For customers on our Enterprise plan there is no immediate change in behaviour however our customer success team will be in touch with you to transition you over to the new solution
